This policy explains what information Timesheet Calculator handles, how calculator data is processed, and what choices visitors have regarding cookies, advertising and privacy.

This Privacy Policy applies to visitors who use Timesheet Calculator and its tools, including the Timesheet Calculator, Hourly Pay Calculator, Overtime Calculator and Time Card Calculator. The website is owned and operated by Matthew Collins.

By using the website, you acknowledge the practices described here. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

2. Information we handle

Calculator entries

Values entered into our calculators—such as hours, rates, breaks, overtime settings and currency choices—are used to produce results in your browser. Our current calculator code does not intentionally send those entries to an external service, store them in browser local storage, or create a personal profile.

Technical information

Like most websites, our hosting provider and WordPress installation may automatically process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. This can include an IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, timestamps, referring page, and security or error logs.

Information you choose to send

If you contact us by email, we receive the address and information you include. Please do not send payroll records, government identifiers, banking information or other sensitive personal data.

3. Why information may be used

  • To provide calculator functions and display requested results.
  • To operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website.
  • To prevent abuse, malicious activity and technical failures.
  • To respond to messages and maintain necessary correspondence.
  • To comply with valid legal obligations and protect legal rights.

We do not sell personal information. We do not currently use calculator entries to build advertising profiles.

4. Cookies and browser storage

At the date shown above, our calculator code was checked and no Google Analytics, Google AdSense, browser-storage, cookie-writing or external-data-request code was found in the calculators themselves. WordPress, the hosting platform, security tools or logged-in administration features may still use strictly necessary cookies or comparable technologies to operate and protect the site.

Important: technology can change. Our separate Cookie Policy explains the categories that may be used and will be updated if analytics, advertising or additional services are introduced.

5. Future advertising and Google AdSense

We may monetize the website with Google AdSense or another advertising provider in the future. If Google ads are enabled, Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies can enable Google and its partners to show personalized advertising where permitted.

Visitors can manage personalized Google advertising through Google Ads Settings. Additional participating vendors may offer opt-out choices through their own sites or industry choice tools.

Before serving personalized ads to users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we intend to implement an appropriate Google-certified Consent Management Platform that integrates with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework where Google requires it. A written privacy or cookie policy alone does not collect valid consent.

6. Service providers and disclosures

Information may be processed by providers that support hosting, website delivery, security, backups, email and future advertising or analytics. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy obligations. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our terms, prevent harm, or protect users and the website.

Links to external websites are governed by those websites’ own privacy policies.

7. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability for personal information we control. You may also have the right to withdraw consent and complain to a local data-protection authority.

Because calculator entries are currently processed locally and are not linked to an account, we may not possess or be able to identify those entries. For email or other identifiable records, contact us with enough detail to locate the relevant information. We may need to verify a request before acting.

8. Retention, security and international processing

We retain identifiable information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, legal obligations, security and dispute resolution. Hosting and service providers may process information in countries different from yours. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Children’s privacy

The website is a general productivity resource and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child supplied personal information may contact us to request review or deletion.

10. Policy updates

We may update this policy when the website, service providers, advertising practices or legal requirements change. The revised date at the top will show when the latest version became effective. Material changes may also be highlighted on the website.
